The Solar Technician program offers a comprehensive curriculum that covers every aspect of solar technology, from the basics to advanced troubleshooting techniques. Students will start by learning about the history and importance of solar power in the Solar Basics and Foundations of PV courses. They will then delve deeper into the practical applications of solar technology, studying solar module design, system assessment, and inverter technology. The program further includes courses on cell technology, mechanical and electrical commissioning, grounding and bonding, solar electrical installation, and solar system troubleshooting. Lastly, students will have hands-on training on array assembly installation. By the end of the program, students will have a strong understanding of all facets of solar technology.

A Solar Technician is a professional who specializes in installing, maintaining, and repairing solar power systems. They work in both residential and commercial settings, installing panels, optimizing power production, and ensuring the systems meet safety and regulatory standards.
